Not the kind of cafe you want to chill and linger at. I wanted to love this place, but I really didn’t.
It’s cash only, and the only ATM nearby is in a store that’s not always open at the same time as the cafe.
Waiter told us our total right after bringing out the beignets, so you basically get served once, pay, and get nothing after that. No refills for your tiny water you ordered in the middle of August. Tables are sticky and dirty. Loud 10-minute rendition of When the Saints Come Marching In by street performers right next to the entrance. Just not great vibes. Sort of a ‘give us your money and go’ kind of energy.
