An excellent - super clean airport. Spacious, quiet - not so hectic - with excellent signage. Even if you are not familiar here, you can find everything quickly and easily. Compared to this, Schiphol seems very outdated, messy and chaotic: everything everywhere.
Reception on arrival with automatic terminals where your passport is scanned after which you go through customs and security. where the usual papers must be shown. Takes some time, but tip: preparation is half the battle and saves time wasted. Especially if you have to have a covid test done. Advice: take Numi (fast and good). Arrival: everything is in the same area where the departures are to your return destination. Super easy.
There are fewer shops and restaurants than at Schiphol, but that is what makes this airport so clear compared to the chaotic layout of Schiphol.
Car rentals in an adjacent building and completely covered and everything at one long counter. Here zero whining about extra insurance etc. Again, preparation is half the battle.
In my opinion BEST international larger airport and an example for the rest.

Een uitstekende - super schone luchthaven. Ruim van opzet, rustig - niet zo hectisch en uitstekende bewegwijzering. Ook als je hier niet bekend bent, kan je alles snel en eenvoudig vinden. Vergeleken hierbij doet Schiphol sterk verouderd, rommelig en chaotisch aan: van alles overal.
Ontvangst bij aankomst met automatische terminals waar je paspoort wordt gescand waarna je via de security door de douane gaat. De gebruikelijke papieren moet tonen. Kost wat tijd, maar tip: voorbereiding is halve werk en scheelt tijdverlies. Zeker als je covid test moet laten doen. Alles in het zelfde gedeelte waar ook de departures naar je retourbestemming zit.
Er zijn minder winkels en restaurants dan op Schiphol, maar dat maakt deze luchthaven ook zo overzichtelijk vergeleken bij de chaotische indeling van Schiphol.
Car rentals in nevengebouw en volledig overdekt en alles aan één lange balie. Hier weinig gezeur over extra verzekering etc. Wederom, voorbereiding is halve werk.
Naar mijn mening BESTE internationale grotere luchthaven en een voorbeeld voor de rest.
