We visited the zoo at a weekend. I am with my family along with my friends family. We have annual pass(220dollars) which allows free entrance for up to seven people, unlimited entrees.
The zoo is amazing. I especially loved the butterfly zone. It is a huge green house where butterflies are everywhere, all around you. The mouse exhibition is also better than I expected: I thought it to be scary, but it turned out to be super interesting.
Food here is not overpriced and the ice cream tastes great.
I strongly recommend the annual pass.

Literally a oasis in the center of New York. People come here to relax, have Picnic, walk pets, date, or feed the pigeons. The benches under the sun is cozy to sit on and huge trees cast chunks of shades. The vibe is pretty chill and it is so cozy to just rest there.
