I had to go in “The Curry Palace” is a big name and I love curry!
Brocken down place. Not very clean. A little hole in a wall really.
One young man alone working.
I ordered a lamb curry ( medium spicy)
He warmed it up and added the fresh cut hot peppers.
It was $14.99 and nothing came with it.
About 4 ounces in a plastic take out container.
I would have like at least a naan for 14.99.
Flavor was really good but too too watery and a grainy feeling..
I think it was near the end of its life.
Would I go back?
No.

Delicious weekend buffet, fantastic staff service. Been here a few times now and every time has been great. A decent variety of food and fresh naan has me coming back every time!
I've also been once during weekdays for non-buffet....the tomato soup is awesome!

Best Punjabi food in the great Ottawa area, delicious fresh and flavourful, the naan were great and they always accommodate a large group of us. We went on a night they were short staffed as it is a family location but the service was still great! They are always kinda to my family especially given that we have family who doesn't speak English, this feels like a family place! Wish they were available for me downtown!
Best Indian food I've had in a long time. Food is hot, tasty, and spicy. The service is fast and the atmosphere is great.
Ordered daal tadka they delivered daal makhni. Asked for medium spices and received super spicy.

I had really tasty Indian food here after a long time. Highly recommended!

This family owned restaurant truly is.a Gem in Kanata! From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a friendly smile. The dishes were absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant whether a romantic dinner for two, dinner with family or friends, or just picking up some take out to enjoy at home. You won’t be disappointed!
Great restaurant! They no longer have their lunch buffet, instead they have these lunch combo plates, and they are great! Tons of food, and it is was delicious! Three great Indian dishes along a huge amount of rice, and a lot of naan bread. Would definitely recommend! Not more expensive than other Indian places, great place for the lunch plate, we left SO stuffed!
Very good food and staff is very friendly. Stopped here for a lunch and had Chana batura and noodles woth chilli panner. The food was not spicy as told and was prepared very well. Will visit again when we visit Ottawa again !
