I went to their new location in downtown, on Dalhousie street, but couldn't find the page on google so I will leave my review here. Very good food, great atmosphere, and super friendly staff. I walked in on opening day and was kindly greeted by every staff member. All I ordered was a half chicken, but they ended up giving me complimentary rice and even a bottle of water. Great food and great people.

Great grand opening Nov. 28 at the Dalhousie location in the Market! Flavourful, juicy chicken. A nutrient-dense salad with kale and mixed greens. Perhaps the best sweet potato fries I've had. Jollof was tasty and comforting. Great portions at an affordable price. Staff were very welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. I'll have to come back to try the ginger drink.

Placed an order yesterday evening after a five-month hiatus, and I'm delighted to report that the food remains as delicious as ever, arriving in satisfying portions. Highly recommend the cheese nan, tandoori chicken, and rack of lamb. The friendly and courteous worker handling both the front and order packaging enhances the overall excellent service! 👌

Food is very very good, portions are great and the service is excellent. They treated us like we at a fine dining spot. Owners/workers are amazing, nice people and shows through the food they make.

I'm so glad that Afghan Kabob Express is open again, oh how I have missed their delicious food. I'm certainly making up for lost time....visiting for the 3rd time this week, but who's counting?

Love the butter chicken, can't have enough of it... Add to that the rice and the naan bread, and you can't go wrong. Very affordable - Dare I say "inflation beater"

The service is top notch. The hostess Christie, is warm welcoming and customer focused... She willingly created a custom menu combo I requested, that others refused to do.

Had the lunch special which is $10 for a quarter chicken and fries. They give a lot of fries!!! We had both medium and African spice levels and I would recommend African. It's more flavorful than hot.

We dined in but this place is more geared for take away.

We really enjoyed it and will return for the meals.

OMG! I just ordered chicken plate through DoorDash, and I’ve only had one bite of chicken and it’s the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth! I just tried a potato, also amazing! This is my new favourite shawarma joint!

It was our first time and boy were we amazed with the dishes we brought home for the family! Their chicken and Jollof rice was the best one I’ve had in the city, and their ginger juice was excellent! The plantains were sweet and cooked perfect. Highly recommend.

Amazing authentic food. Highly recommend the bolani, it’s the best thing I’ve had in a while. The pricing is reasonable, and the staff is amazing. Will be coming back here regularly!

They just re-opened and I was so lucky to come in for lunch to have their mantu dumplings!! I was so hungry that I wolfed down half of it before I took a photo. The portion was large and the dumplings were bursting with a perfect balance of spice and textures. I’m a big dumpling snob and this mantu doesn’t disappoint. Under new management so please check them out.

The visit to Afghani Kabob restaurant wasn't planned. We were in the area and decided to try the nearest Kabab place. The food was 5 stars, we loved every dish we ordered. We dine in but the restaurant has a fast food vibe. I might try this place again if I was in the area.

Super lecker,unser Hähnchen und sehr, sehr freundliche Bedienung.Würde ich jederzeit wieder hingehen.
