Our experience at this restaurant was terrible when it was time to pay. The food was so-so and very expensive. When paying, the waiter managed to steal 10 euros of our money when we were distracted. My wife tried to pay with a credit card. The server said the machine was “not working.” She then handed him a 20 and 3 10’s for the 47 euro bill. He said/showed us a 20 and 2 10’s. What could we do when we knew this wasn’t so? We suggest you place the money on the table, and count it out loud to avoid this scam. It ruined the rest of our afternoon in Brugge, and was such a disappointment in mankind. We’ll read the Google reviews next time!
